Yesterday Alex and I hiked the Baden Powell Trail from Horseshoe Bay to the top of Black Mountain. Roughly a 900m elevation gain, it was a 5 hour round trip including lunch at the summit.  I have done this hike before – it’s a fabulous hike, especially for being just 30min drive from the city.
